We’re very pleased to have been asked back to do two gigs:  On Wednesday October 1st we’re playing privately at The Lodge Care Home in Copdock - a great privilege for us; and on Friday October 3rd at 7.30pm we’re playing at the annual Big Music Night in Bramford Village Hall - come along to that one and hear us plus a wide range of other musicians…. check out the details of the event on www.streetlegalmusic.com.

Our Tuesday night meetings go from strength to strength - two new members in recent weeks give us a thriving beginners’/elementary group, while the others practice their piping…. Seen above David Caldwell, Alex Carruthers, Leigh Adams and Rod Caird hammering out The Drunken Piper.

Very pleased to announce we raised £105.60 for the St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich by playing for an hour or so in the town centre on Sunday June 8th.  We enjoyed ourselves and will be back!! Watch this space!!

• Sunday June 8th - Ipswich Town Centre around lunchtime, charity busking for St Elizabeth’s Hospice
• Friday June 13th - at the Steamboat Tavern in Ipswich at 7.00pm, part of the Riverside Folk festival
• Friday June 20th - at Henley Folk Night in the Community Centre off Ashbocking Road
